Regional Chamber Staff Recognized by Carolinas Association of Chamber Executives
ROCK HILL, SC – The Regional Chamber is pleased to announce that Mark Pursley, the organization’s Director of Programs & External Affairs, has received a 2024 Service Award along with a full scholarship to attend the US Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management. Both recognitions were presented by the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE) earlier this week.
Mark received one of only two full-tuition scholarships offered by CACCE this year, awarded for the purpose of supporting Chamber professionals who are committed to broadening their knowledge of the profession and expanding their careers and peer networks. The Chamber Institute requires one full week of in-person classes each year for a total of four years. After this summer’s coursework, Mark will have completed three years of instruction and plans to officially graduate from the program in June of 2025.
Additionally, CACCE presents annual Service Awards, recognizing professionals in North Carolina and South Carolina who have achieved significant years of service in the Chamber of Commerce industry. Mark has reached the organization’s first benchmark of a full five years – all spent serving our York County business community.
