NAMI Piedmont Tri-County Announces the Hiring of Outreach Coordinators for Chester County and York County

NAMI Piedmont Tri-County recently announced that Kate Brunnelson has joined the staff as York County Outreach Coordinator. Executive Director Robert White shared that, "We are thrilled to have Kate join our team and contribute to our efforts in serving the community. Kate brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her role, and we are confident that she will make a positive impact in York County. Her primary focus will be strengthening our outreach initiatives and ensuring we effectively engage with the community members and stakeholders. To kickstart her role, Kate will work closely with NAMT PTC staff and myself, who have been instrumental in our outreach efforts thus far. Together, they will collaborate to introduce Kate to various stakeholders, community organizations, and local officials. Our goal is to establish meaningful connections and foster collaboration in order to address the needs and concerns of the community effectively. We believe that Kate’s skills and dedication will create a successful partnership that will benefit York County and its residents."

Rock Hill, SC – November 1, 2023 - NAMI Piedmont Tri-County, a leading mental health organization serving the Piedmont region, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Outreach Coordinators for Chester County and York County. These new additions to the team will play a pivotal role in expanding NAMI's reach, strengthening community relationships, and promoting mental health awareness in their respective counties.

NAMI Piedmont Tri-County has always been committed to providing support, education, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by mental illness. With these new hires, the organization aims to further its mission by engaging more effectively with communities in Chester County and York County.

This NEW addition of the Outreach Coordinator for Chester County will be responsible for fostering partnerships with local organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and community leaders. Their primary focus will be to increase awareness about mental health resources, support services, and educational programs offered by NAMI Piedmont Tri-County. By collaborating with key stakeholders, the Outreach Coordinator will work towards reducing stigma surrounding mental illness and ensuring that those in need have access to the help they deserve.

Similarly, the replacement Outreach Coordinator for York County will work diligently to continue to establish strong relationships within the community. They will actively promote NAMI Piedmont Tri-County's initiatives, including support groups, educational seminars, and advocacy efforts. By organizing community events and engaging with local media outlets, the Outreach Coordinator will help raise awareness and encourage conversations around mental health in York County.
